Lauren and Alex’s Cibo Waterfront Café wedding was one of those unforgettable days filled with genuine emotion, belly laughs, and quiet moments that said everything.
As a Winnipeg wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of witnessing countless love stories — and this one has that something extra. From their first meeting at a band gig at The King’s Head (yes, Alex was the bass player!), to a cozy first date just days later, their story has been unfolding for over 11 years. It’s a connection rooted in laughter, music, and an easy kind of love that you don’t have to pose for — it just is.
One of the things that stood out throughout the day (and their entire story) was how much these two genuinely enjoy each other. They’re goofy, playful, and full of inside jokes — but there’s also a steady, grounded love that’s clearly grown stronger over the years.
Lauren and Alex — thank you for letting me be part of your love story. From a bar show over a decade ago to your wedding at one of Winnipeg’s most beautiful venues, it’s been such a gift to capture your connection. I can’t wait to see what your next chapter holds!
Thank you to the vendors who brought this day to life!
