I’ve had the absolute honour of photographing Danica and Luke since their engagement nearly four years ago. From the joy of their engagement session to the emotions of their wedding day, and now to this beautiful new chapter — their maternity session — it’s been a joy to capture their love story as it’s grown and evolved.

Being a Winnipeg wedding photographer means I get to be present for some of life’s most meaningful moments. But what makes this even more special is the relationship we’ve built along the way. Danica and Luke feel like old friends now — the kind you can laugh with between shots and reminisce with while walking through a golden field.

It’s one thing to witness a couple on their wedding day, full of excitement for what’s ahead. It’s another to see them years later, hands on belly, eyes full of anticipation for the little life they’ve created together. It’s a kind of love that’s grown roots.

Danica and Luke, thank you for trusting me to tell your story year after year. Watching your love grow into a family is a privilege I don’t take lightly. I already can’t wait to meet your little one — and of course, to photograph the next chapter when the time comes.
