While Marissa is now based in Belleville, Ontario, and travels back to Winnipeg regularly, Winnipeg will always be where this business began. To continue serving couples, families, and businesses across Winnipeg and Manitoba, she has built a trusted associate team of photographers who share the same warm approach, attention to detail, and passion for storytelling.

Personally trained by Marissa, each associate photographer captures the candid, heartfelt moments that make your story unique. When you book with our team, you can expect a guided, stress-free experience and photos that feel genuine, joyful, and true to you.

Marissa will lead you through the entire client experience from start to finish. From the moment you inquire to the delivery of your final wedding package, Marissa will ensure your experience is smooth, fun, and heartfelt.

Once you book with Marissa and her team, you’ll receive a welcome guide filled with resources to help you plan your special day. It includes everything from vendor recommendations and timeline tips to advice on how to prioritize how you want to feel on your wedding day. You’ll always have the peace of mind knowing that Marissa and her team are available for anything you need!

Ahead of your special day, communication will be established between Marissa, your associate photographer, and you to ensure any questions are answered. You will then have your engagement session with your dedicated associate, where you’ll meet, vibe out, and have a blast! More importantly, your associate, who was trained directly by Marissa , will make sure you are comfortable in front of the camera, making you feel like you’ve known each other for years.

(If your package doesn’t include an engagement session, Marissa will ensure you meet the associate photographer virtually at least 1 month before your wedding to go over all the details, ensure everything is clear, and get excited for your special day!)

After your engagement and wedding are complete, your associate will ensure the images are safely backed up and handed off to Marissa. From there, Marissa will begin the editing process and take care of you until the final gallery is delivered.

Following your engagement, wedding, or session, the associate and Marissa will save the images to which Marissa will take over the editing process. Within 72 hours of your engagement, wedding, or session, you’ll receive sneak peeks to your email! 

For engagements and sessions, the full gallery will be sent 2-3 weeks after the session date to your email for you to download all the images!

For weddings, the full gallery will be sent 2 months after your wedding in an online gallery where you’ll then select 80 images for your hard cover album to which Marissa will design for you and prepare your package. Once the favourited images are complete, Marissa will finalize the package and ship it your way with Canada Post as soon as it’s completed!

Hey, I’m Jessica! A Winnipeg wedding and lifestyle photographer passionate about capturing moments that freeze in time, that people can look back on for years to come. 

What drives me in photography is knowing I’m capturing memories that will be cherished for generations. From wedding days to growing families, I love documenting the genuine moments that tell your story in a way that feels true to you. My goal is always to create photos that bring you right back to how those moments felt. Outside of photography, I spend my weekdays working full-time as an Early Childhood Educator, supporting children during some of the most important developmental years of their lives. Both careers allow me to connect with people and make meaningful impacts in different ways. 

When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my husband, making memories in our first home in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, and loving life with our five fur babies. In the summer, you’ll often find me at our family cottage in Whiteshell Provincial Park, and in the winter, I’m out exploring Manitoba on snowmobile trails.

A Winnipeg wedding, lifestyle, and branding photographer where I believe photography is more then just photo. Photography has always been deeply personal to me. Growing up, my mom documented everything with her film camera — family gatherings, recitals, vacations, all the little moments that now mean everything. Looking through old photo albums felt like stepping back into a memory, and that feeling stayed with me.

In 2019, after unexpectedly losing my father, I began to understand just how meaningful photographs truly are. Then, in 2025, after losing my mother as well, photography became even more personal to me. Grief has taught me that photographs are so much more than images, they become pieces of our history, reminders of love, voices we can no longer hear, and moments we wish we could step back into.

Throughout my own journey with grief, I’ve found myself returning to old photographs more times than I can count. They hold stories, emotions, and memories that time can never fully take away. That experience completely changed the way I approach photography. It’s no longer just about documenting what a moment looked like, it’s about preserving how it felt.

That is what continues to drive me in the work that I do today: creating honest, emotional, and meaningful imagery that people can hold onto for generations.
