Krista & Alec – Evergreen Village

These two have left me speechless in our time together. Since the moment we met each other back in December as Alec proposed to Krista, they have been inseparable ever since! And we’ve become best friends of course as well!

There Evergreen Village wedding was everything you could possibly imagine and more! With one of the most emotional first looks I’ve witnessed to the love and support their family showcases towards them is unlike anything else! As Alec saw Krista for the first time, I think it’s safe to saw he was WOWED! You must see it below!

Kelsey & Dustin – Altona, Manitoba

I’ve always known these two had a connection for each other that is truly like any other. The way they protect each other, love one another, and express so may emotions through simple gestures is something that makes Kelsey and Dustin so precious.

There wedding day was the most perfect day expressed them in the best way…on their own property…on the farm! They invited their closest friends and family to join them during their evening ceremony with a warm fire to end the evening.

When I first met Kelsey and Dustin one of the first things, they told me was, they didn’t want a complex or busy wedding day. They wanted a day where they would be able to dance, laugh, and have fun while engaging with every guest, and that’s exactly what happened.

Now sit back and enjoy Kelsey & Dustin’s special day that was truly made just for them!

Kim & Kyle – Hawthorn Estates

THESE TWO let me tell ya! WOW! What a day we had together!

A ceremony that was filled with tears, laughter, jokes, and family that had the best sense of humour, to a reception that was filled with similar emotions, topped off with a sunset like I’ve ever seen or photographed at any wedding! Now that is just a quick sum up of Kim and Kyle’s wedding at Hawthorne Estates although I’m going to give you a full run down right now!

Kim and Kyle are two people that you can tell by knowing them for only a short period of time that they are adventurous, kind, loving, and want nothing else then experience life together! Upon many of their loved ones they committed to their lives together in August of 2019 in what seemed like the hottest summer day we had all year! As they each got ready at the beginning of the day, they each wrote cards to one another about the feelings they had that morning the day of the wedding, how fast the day has come, and how excited they are to become one in just a few short hours. Fast forward a couple hours to the first look where Kyle was speechless of his soon to be wife and how stunning she looked (everyone cried that was witnessing that first look, trust me).

After an emotional first look the party slowly began as the wedding party brought the excitement through till family photos where Kyle’s grandmother was able to make it to their special day (we are unsure about this many times before the wedding) which made everyone in Kyle’s family extremely happy to say the very least.

As the day went on the laughter, happiness, and tears continued to flow as the day quickly flowed after that and before we all knew it Kim and Kyle’s wedding was complete!

Now you can sit back and take in the day for yourself below!

    Enjoy!

Rachel & Stephen – St. Pierre, Manitoba

They say if you have a rainy wedding day that it’s good luck, right?!

Well, that sure was the case for Rachel and Stephen for their gorgeous St. Pierre Wedding. They were surrounded with family, friends, and one big fun wedding party that allowed them to enjoy their wedding day regardless of the poor weather we had! The day began with Rachel getting ready with her bridesmaids in the comfort of her parents’ home while Stephen got ready with his boys.

When I first met Rachel and Stephen, they knew they wanted to get married in a church because it is a place and something that is important to both of their families. As we gathered in their family church in the heart of Transcona they committed to their lives together while celebrating later in the cutest venue in St. Pierre, Manitoba! (If you haven’t been to St. Pierre you need to take a road trip out, it’s so adorable and full of unique things!)

As the day came to a close Rachel and Stephen ended wit their first dance to From the Ground Up by Dan and Shay in which you can imagine everyone in the tent had a tear or two in their eyes. With this being the perfect close to the formal part of the evening, we finished it all off with a walk through what seemed like a rain forest because of the thunderstorm that happened earlier that evening where Rachel and Stephen were the pure definition of troopers as we ventured out for a few final photos to celebrate an incredible day!

For all the couples getting married in either 2020, 2021, or years to come, if it rains on your wedding day do not worry! Sometimes having rain on wedding days can be an additional adventure component to your day that you will love!
